Blizzard 2010-Backyard Luge

So the blizzard of 2010 brought a ton of snow, meaning a lot of work to get dug out after it had come and gone. The bright side, however, meant a welcome change to the brown grass and drab scenery that is so common in an east coast winter. Gorgeous white landscapes, colorful birds at the birdfeeder, and lots and lots of sledding help the winter pass a little quicker. One of the things I did after getting my walkways and driveways cleared(yes, I live next door to my in-laws so there are always two of each to do) was to snow-blow a path into the woods behind my house where we usually go hiking down to the river. This path, I got to thinking, could be a really awesome sledding path. After a couple passes with the snow-blower and a few grooming adjustments with the snow shovel, Voila!, backyard ice luge in effect! Above is an image I captured of my wife Danielle on a face-first run down the upper part of the course...
